Learning to study and build. Elmore stressed the importance of study and observation. From tools to nature he challenged us to experiment with boundaries and materials discovering a new media and techniques.
After several studies of my grandfather’s tools, I prepared a canvas texturing the gesso with seran wrap. Drawing, thin layers of gesso, drawing, and added details of black gesso and charcoal.
